The Manukau Volunteer Coastguard and the Titirangi RSA Youth Programme.
The Titirangi RSA presents The Titirangi Masquerade Ball, 2010.
A fun and colourful event to energise a creative community.
Titirangi, will be transformed into a Venetian dream for one night.
Meld under MASK and CLOAK.
The evening featured The Nikau String Quartet, the Swingstarz, JJ Fong and her dancers .
Guests participated in the dance competition, best costume. There was also a door prize and spot prizes throughout the evening.
Body painting artist – Caroline Veisnik – showcased her artistry by painting masks on some of the guests. www.makeupstar.co.nz
A cast metal mask – created by Peter Van Rooyen, President of Manukau Volunteer Coastguard, was auctioned. Currently on display at the Upstairs Gallery as part of Masquerade-Elements of Disguise.
